Targets

- Ensure that my free periods are used for work and not unnecessary activities (sleeping).

- Ensure that I keep up to date with coursework in all subjects (so not to disrupt other lessons) / keep my
blog up to date with recently finished coursework.

-  Experiment with light outside college to ensure the I have fulfilled the AO2.

Have you taken a broad range of  primary photographs for your exam theme such as digital AND film photographs? Are these on your blog?

There is a wide range of primary images on both digital and film. None of the film photos have been uploaded.

Have you explored and developed your ideas imaginatively? How have you demonstrated this?

Some images have been taken ‘in the moment’ while others have been planned with a preferred outcome. Several images have been altered with the use of Photoshop and displayed on the blog.
More ideas. - Relfections. repeats, layering..

Have you researched a diverse range of artwork and completed this on your blog? Who have you analysed? Is your analysis in-depth?

There are a few artists that I have analysed – three of them are present on the blog. I have analysed Patrick Rochon, Pablo Picasso, Justin Quinnell, Rankin ‘Destroy’ and Geraldine Georges. My analyses vary in length of 300- 800 words and comment on Context, Aesthetics, Personal Response and Meaning.

Have you experimented with a wide range of techniques both handmade and computer generated? Which techniques have you used?

I have experimented with computer-aided designs rather than in the darkroom, as this is what I am comfortable with and have a great understanding. I have used Photoshop with overlaying, etc.
Add handmade elements... paint, cuttings... reflect negative in the darkroom - cover one half and flip, repeat process...

Have you refined / developed your outcomes through experimentation? How?

Through trail and error I have gained greater understanding in how to utilize my film and digital cameras to produce better images, also my skills have improved in development of films. I am going to work with the concept of reflection in Photoshop and the darkroom- with feedback from teacher...  Reversals

Have you written in detail about your experiments and developments on your blog and used this information to help you improve?

No, although there are short annotations on many of the images that I have taken and produced.

Have you taken imaginative leaps/ shown a sense of discovery/ willingness to take risks in your work? If so how? If not, how can you do this?

Other than experimenting with my digital photos in Photoshop, no. [as above]

Have you shown enthusiasm and imagination in your work? If so, how? If not, how can you make changes to do this?

I have been enthusiastic and imaginative with my work but I am unsure if it is evident.

Have you created work that is exciting and original? If so, how? If not, what can you do to improve this area?

I hope that I have achieved this, but am again unsure with I have demonstrated this.

Have you annotated your blog thoroughly throughout?

I have annotated most of the images taken – images that haven’t been annotated have been grouped together and annotated as a collective.

Have you practised with your exam outcomes by creating mock-ups? Are your outcomes skilful/ well constructed?

No.

Have you created an exam plan?

I have a vague plan but nothing concrete or thoroughly developed.
