I believe that the trip to the Imperial War Museum and Tate Modern was very helpful; at the IWM the two exhibitions of I visited gave me the opportunity to see photos that were taken in distressing, dangerous and despair places and instead of the image capturing the area it also caught the emotions and ambience of the people and area. While in the TM there many images that gave the same impressions; also there was a black wall with lettering, that looked to be written in a chalk lookalike, with names and words. I liked this arrangement and feel like I could produce a similar thing in my exam piece tying in the exam theme words instead.
